Visar Nonaj

Visar Nonaj migrated to Germany from Albania in 1993. In 1998 he began studying History and German Literature at the Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. In 2011 Nonaj became a research assistant at the Leibniz Institute for East and Southeast European Research in Regensburg. There he also began the case study of the Elbasan steelworks, an industrial giant in socialist Albania in the 1970s and 1980s. He currently works near Frankfurt am Main.
